A Welsh lifting equipment company is on the up - and has taken new premises at Cardiff Bay Business Centre.

Principle Lifting and Safety is planning to double staff in three years as demand grows for its services.

The family-run business was set up in 2015. It sells, hires and certifies lifting and safety equipment to a wide range of customers around South Wales, and also offers training and maintenance.

Principle Lifting and Safety operates to the highest standards, Director Martin Morgan commented: “Health and safety is of paramount importance for everyone. We service a broad range of businesses using lifting and height safety equipment.

"Helping our customers remain compliant by offering products and services which adhere to all current legislation is our main focus.”

To cope with expansion, the firm has moved to larger premises at Cardiff Bay Business Centre, run by Tata Steel subsidiary UK Steel Enterprise.

Fellow Director of PLS Nicola Tarran explained: “We moved to the larger premises because we were growing and needed more space. Moving to Cardiff Bay Business Centre has definitely proved to be the right decision for us.”

Andrea Rogerson Hewett of UK Steel Enterprise said: “We are delighted that Principle Lifting and Safety has joined our community of businesses here at the centre and wish them every success in the future.”
