UK Steel Enterprise has further strengthened its long-standing commitment to Lanarkshire’s business community with the announcement that it is supporting the annual Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards once again.

Now in their 25th year, the Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards provide a platform for organisations of all sizes to showcase recent successes and achievements. With a total of ten award categories, ranging from Best Food and Drink Provider and Best Family Business to Best Visitor Experience and Best Product or Service, companies from a wide variety of sectors will be recognised.

UKSE is again sponsoring the Lanarkshire’s Best Business Award open to companies with 26 or more employees. The category recognises organisations which have demonstrated significant growth and presented a credible plan for continued success. Strong leadership, commitment, employee development and a substantial ambition to optimise business performance are also key criteria in this category.

Regional manager, Anne Clyde will represent UKSE at the presentation ceremony at Motherwell Concert Hall on Friday 2 March 2018, where more than 500 people are expected to attend.

She said; “The Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards are always a highlight of the year, and we are thrilled to partner with the awards once again. Each year, I am blown away by the entrepreneurial spirit within Lanarkshire, and the standard of competition is always high.

“Supporting local companies in reaching their full potential is at the heart of what we aim to achieve at UK Steel Enterprise and it is always great to learn about all the fantastic business accomplishments in the area.

“The awards are now open and business have until 17th November to apply. I wish all entrants the very best of luck and look forward to celebrating the best of Lanarkshire’s thriving business community.”
